WP8, Windows Phone 8, Nokia Microsoft

Rumors about the upcoming Windows Phone 8 OS supporting screenshot functionality surfaced earlier this month, and then seemed to fade.

Now those rumors have resurfaced and have solidified into fact. Microsoft is, indeed, integrating this function into the Windows Phone 8 platform. WP7App.de activated the screenshot part of Windows Phone 8 in the recently leaked SDK (which we’ve embedded below), revealing that Microsoft will use the Windows and Camera button combination to take screenshots natively. While this is a minor feature, it would be very useful for reviewers, developers, and end users alike.

Windows Phone 8 will store the screenshots in a separate album within the Photos hub, separate from where camera photos are stored.

What uses can you find for screenshot functionality?
