Fring App for iOS, iPhone VoIP, iPad VoIP Apps

If you’ve been having trouble with getting Fring to sync with your Apple iPhone’s address book, you’ll be happy to know that an update has just been released by the voice over IP and messaging provider that fixes this very issue.

The update was released today with the numerical moniker of 6.1.2.2 and does not bring any new features to the table, nor does it appear to bring any other new fixes aside from the address book sync. It still includes the same features as the previous update for the operating system, including the phone number registration instead of using a username or password, iPhone 5 support, and multi-device login that lets you log into the application using the same phone number on multiple iOS-powered devices, including the iPad (for which the Fring app was optimized as well).

The 16 MB-sized update is now available through the iOS App Store.
