Rebtel, the word’s second-largest mobile VoIP provider following Skype, revealed some interesting results from a survey conducted that measures the satisfaction of social network users as well as those who use communication services.

The survey revealed that most stress among mobile users comes from the Facebook social network. Oddly, Facebook was also found to have the most profound effect on positive and negative moods.

Talking on the phone was considered the most satisfying way of communicating with family and friends at 59.7 percent, a surprising discovery considering the popularity of messaging services and text messaging. Video chat followed with 22.9 percent with messaging services all the way down at 2.1 percent.

“Our social media report helps paint an interesting picture of our evolving communications tastes and preferences, and how even routine activities such as checking friends into locations, can have an adverse affect on our relationships,” said Rebtel CEO Andreas Bernström.
