Android OS, Droid Smartphones, Phones running Android

First the company offered a free Android phone for Tax Season to users in the U.S. Then it gave away $75 million worth of Android gear in late April. Now it’s going all-out and doing the same for mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day.

Now through Mother’s Day, May 12, ooVoo, the largest independent social video chat provider with 75 million registered subscribers, is offering mothers a way out of their feature phone and into the world of smartphones.

“Your mom doesn’t want to hear from you on Mother’s Day. She wants to see your smiling face,” said Jay Samit, president of ooVoo. “Chat with mom on ooVoo so she can stop worrying about if you are eating right.”

If you’re looking to get your mum in on the Android action, you can register at ooVoo.com/mom and select your wireless carrier and preferred phone model. The new Android smartphone will then be delivered direclty to your mother’s snail mail box.
