Nimbuzz for Android, Nimbuzz Smartphones, Nimbuzz VoIP IM

Just a few days ago, the iOS version of Nimbuzz received an update that allowed it to, among other things, provide users with friend suggestions based on content within the users’ device contacts. Now Android users can take advantage of this feature as well.

Version 2.5.1 of Nimbuzz Messenger is now available as of a little more than 24 hours ago for Android devices and brings some additional enhancements alongside the aforementioned friend suggestions addition. These additional changes have been listed below:

  • Chat with your FB friends even if they are offline/Notifiable. Nimbuzz now allows you to send Push Notifications/offline messages to them.
  • Set personalized background for your chats & group chats.
  • Chat bubbles for clear layout while chatting.
  • Chatrooms security enhancements.
  • Fixed the ‘android.process.acore’ crash which was reported for some of our users on Android 2.2 version.
  • Important bug fix for v2.5.0.

As you can see, the chat experience overall has been greatly improved. You can download the new version of Nimbuzz Messenger from Google Play. Don’t forget to let us know in the comments if you experience any problems with the latest version!
