IMO Messenger, imo.im, Android IM apps

All-in-one messenger imo.im (also known simply as IMO) has just rolled out a brand new update for Android devices that are not being powered by the beta version.

Specifically, the new update targets the app’s feature set and adds a new entry to it alongside the video chat added in July. Users now have the ability to add their friends via SMS.

In addition, IMO’s developers have improved the audio quality of the app so hopefully we won’t be bothered with too many “underwater” conversations, which are only awesome if they’re actually real.

Automatic previous message loading is also now a part of the application. Gone are the days when opening a chat in IMO revealed a clean messaging slate. Now you can automatically see what was said in the conversation before you entered.

Finally, the new update incorporates the usual round of bug fixes that we’ve grown quite accustomed to around here. Fetch the latest update via Google Play and let us know your impressions of the new update in the comments!
