Voxer, Voxer Pro for Business, Voxer Push to Talk

Remember the smiley face icon? You should. Voxer has been using this icon from the very beginning across its entire suite of apps, which consist of both Voxer and Voxer Pro for Business, and it’s become very well known in tech circles. In case you don’t, though, you can take a tiny walk down memory lane by looking at the old icons situated at the very top of the above photo.

You’ll also notice that a couple of new icons have joined the smiley Voxer icon; what you’re looking at is the brand new face of one of the world’s most popular push to talk applications as the company bids a fond farewell to the smiley face of old.

Currently, the new branding is available only to those who have downloaded the latest version of Voxer or Voxer Pro Business via iTunes, and has not yet rolled out to Voxer’s apps for Android or Windows Phone. However, we suspect that there will be an update within the next few days for those operating systems as well.

Speaking of the latest update, iOS also received a few minor bug fixes and audio messaging improvements with the new version of Voxer, while Voxer Pro Business received support for Single Sign-On. If you haven’t already, you can experience these and the new branding by downloading Voxer or downloading Voxer Pro for Business.
