VoIP Calling App, Free Smartphone App, Rebtel VoIP

Rebtel for Android users will no doubt be aware upon checking for updates via Google Play that the application has received a pretty decent sized update, bringing with it an “all-new design” and other improvements.

The new design includes new navigation with a slide-in menu and action bar, which makes this particular portion of the Rebtel app “bigger, brighter and more user friendly” according to its developers. In addition, the developers have taken the liberty of adding a new Favorites view, which makes it easier to bookmark your most-oft-contacted people. This removes the tediousness of having to scroll through a list every time you want to contact your cousin across the pond. If you’re one of those people who put symbols at the beginning of your contact’s name so they always show up at the top, this should enable you to remove such symbols.

Finally, the update also brings more detailed contact listing, now showing recent calls and messages for each contact.
