KakaoTalk on Android, messaging apps, free text and calls

Roughly a week ago, KakaoTalk released version 4.0.0 of its messaging application, bringing with it a revamped look and some performance improvements to boot. The company has certainly been on a roll this week and has just released two updates back to back within a 12 hour period, version 4.0.1 and version 4.0.2. For the sake of this article, we’ll focus on the latest version.

Are your friends having trouble finding that new Chinese restaurant that just opened across town? Maybe you’re in a quandary over choosing between two or more different locations to view those fireworks. Or maybe, just maybe, you’re addicted to maps and have to share locations with your friends to keep your blood pumping in your veins. The good news is, this is now possible with KakaoTalk 4.0.2.

In addition to the location sharing, you can also look forward to improved messaging performance along with other improvements and bug fixes that weren’t specified in the developer changelog. In any case, you can find the new KakaoTalk in Google Play.
