Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush for Kakao, KakaoTalk Games

King’s runaway smash hit Candy Crush Saga game has launched on KakaoTalk under the fitting title of “Candy Crush Saga for Kakao”.

All of Kakao’s 110 million users can now play the matching puzzle game for themselves. Even if you’re familiar with the original game, Candy Crush Saga for Kakao has unique, social gaming features, including sending requests via KakaoTalk’s chat and sharing exclusive emoticons). In other words, it’s a perfect fit for the South Korean messaging platform. The game also includes over 400 levels.

“In ‘Candy Crush Saga for Kakao’ King has developed exclusive features that specifically fit to the mobile messenger based SNS ‘Kakao Talk’ and bring a unique and fun social gaming experience to its millions of subscribers across Korea,” said Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King. “For the first time Kakao users will be able to fully immerse themselves in all aspects of the social world of Candy Crush Saga, from sending requests to friends via ‘Kakao Talk’s’ chat, to sharing quirky emoticons which have been exclusively developed for Kakao.”

“We’re extremely excited to have the world’s biggest game launch on Kakao”

“We’re extremely excited to have the world’s biggest game, Candy Crush Saga, launch on Kakao and are confident it will be as loved by the Kakao community as it is by the rest of the world,” said Kakao’s Game Business Director, Seung Whan Vahn.

Gaming is quickly becoming a standard feature in VoIP and messaging apps and it’s great to see a heavy hitter such as this make its way to KakaoTalk, which is available on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone!
