Sprylogics Signs Agreement With Nimbuzz, Will Provide Local Search Across Messaging Platform

Nimbuzz Call and Messaging, NimbuzzOut, Nimbuzz Messenger

Sprylogics International Corporation, a technology provider of local mobile solutions for consumers and businesses announced today that it has signed an agreement with Nimbuzz, to integrate its flagship “Poynt-Enabled” solution into the popular mobile messaging application.

Nimbuzz has more than 150 million users in more than 200 countries across multiple platforms. Over 210,000 new users on average join Nimbuzz Messenger every day (you can even add us with username “TruTower”).

“Poynt-Enabled” is an easy-to-integrate technology solution that is built on top of its leading-edge semantic search platform and provides aggregated content to users along with in-app search and sharing.

“With this relationship, we are delighted to help Nimbuzz differentiate themselves further in the market”, says Marvin Igelman, CEO of Sprylogics. “We know that local search performs up to three times better than display advertising on mobile, because it is much closer to the users’ purchasing and decision-making intent. Therefore, this vote of confidence validates our strategy of enabling new monetization options outside of the less performing display advertising methods.”

You’ll have to wait a bit to try the feature out for yourself though; the offering is currently in a limited beta testing phase, and won’t be officially released in October 2013. Still, it’s a nice peak into what the future will hold for one of the world’s premier messaging applications. To ensure that you’re ready for the feature to arrive, make sure you have the latest version of Nimbuzz downloaded.
