WeChat for iOS, WeChat for Apple, WeChat for iOS7

If you’ve been holding out on iOS 7 compatibility with your WeChat app, you’re in luck, as Tencent has just pushed out an update for Apple devices that brings WeChat to the newest iOS on the block.

Another notable change in WeChat’s latest edition (Version 5.0.3.17) is the ability to make and receive voice calls to and from WeChat friends, bringing WeChat fully into the VoIP circle. In addition, a feature to edit and send Favorite Messages to friends has also been added.

For those who are really protective of their message history, WeChat for iOS now allows you to export your chat history via email, a feature that has been a long time coming for some. You’ll be able to send your entire chat history to any email address of your choosing.

The newest WeChat update also comes packed with additional changes and updates, including:

  • Sign up via Email
  • New button menu for WeChat Team
  • Manually clean WeChat files to save space
  • Export chat history via Email
  • Edit and send Favorite Messages to friends

Get the latest version right here and let us know in the comments how those new voice calls sound!
