WhatsApp, WhatsApp iOS7, Messenger apps

It was leaked in late September and was supposedly supposed to be released at the end of November, but the week came and went with still no iOS 7 interface for WhatsApp. Finally, the day has arrived.

WhatsApp’s latest update (version 2.11.5) doesn’t just add the iOS 7 interface, though. There’s a lot more to behold in the new version including:

  • Broadcast lists: communicate with your classmates, work colleagues or just friends by messaging many people at once.
  • Improved share location: 3D map view, hide places, search places
  • Large thumbs: see more
  • New notification alerts and sounds: WhatsApp Settings > Notifications > New Message.
  • Application will now use your device text size as configured in iOS Settings > General > Text Size
  • New improved User Interface for managing your blocked contacts: WhatsApp Settings > Chat Settings > Blocked
  • Crop image before sending

Of course, the new version also keeps the same features that makes WhatsApp so popular from previous editions. You can get the new WhatsApp right now via iTunes.
