Truphone app new UI, iOS 7 apps, iOS 7 icons

Not to be outdone by Kik, LINE, and more recently WhatsApp on the iOS 7 design front, Truphone’s VoIP App has just received its own new coat of iOS 7-inspired paint.

The newest update, version 5.4, changes not only the icon but the user interface as well, giving the iOS 7 version a unique look and feel when compared to the versions available for Android and BlackBerry 10.

The new app brings the unique iOS 7 icon and feel to Truphone VoIP

So far, this particular update appears to be one of simply beautifying the Truphone App experience; bug fixes and improvements were not mentioned in the app’s official changelog, though it’s possible a few may have been slipped in as an afterthought.

This change is the largest one yet this year on iOS aside from messaging coming back to the platform in September. Last year, the new version 5.0 removed messaging in favor of a simpler experience.

If you haven’t received the update on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch yet, you can download it right here.
