TextMe App, Free SMS, Free text messaging

TextMe, a free SMS application available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, recently rolled out free SMS to residents in the United Kingdom. Since then, we’ve seen only minor updates to the application.

That is at an end as of today. Well, kind of. It’s not the largest update the application has received, but it certainly trumps the aforementioned minor update, which was released for Android smartphones and tablets.

Users can now send Places, Videos, Songs, Stickers, and Files through TextMe.

Version 2.5.1 is now available for Apple devices, and it brings with it a decent number of attachment features. Users can now send Places, Videos, Songs, Stickers, and Files via the application. The developers also say “more” is able to be sent as well, though they did not specify what could be sent beyond what was already mentioned.

A new theme has also accompanied the new update, which should hopefully give you a fresh-feeling experience whenever you open the application.

Get the new TextMe app via iTunes and let us know in the comments how the new version works for you.
