WeChat for iOS, WeChat for Apple, WeChat for iOS7

Since rolling out iOS 7 compatibility in October, updates to WeChat on Apple devices have been pretty minor. Meanwhile, Android users were treated with Android 4.4 KitKat compatibility in November.

The latest update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch delivers an increase to group conversation capacity to a whopping 100 members. While this may seem over-the-top for the vast majority of users, many business-oriented users and others will undoubtedly see this increase as a benefit.

Preview animated stickers in the shop before purchase

You can also view sticker animations before purchasing from WeChat’s in-app store by simply pressing on the sticker, giving you a view of what your purchase will look like when it’s finally made.

A message draft viewing ability has also been added for those who’ve ever wanted to view messages before they’re sent.

No word yet on when these features will arrive for Android or Windows Phone versions of WeChat, but those on iOS can find the latest update right here. Don’t forget to add a little holiday cheer to your messages while you’re at it.
