LINE app, LINE for WP, Windows Phone apps

LINE has just released a small update for Windows Phone devices that includes some general performance improvements along with some bug fixes and even a few changes.

LINE version 3.2.0 also repositions the app’s send button from POSITION to POSITION as you can see in the screenshot on the right. The Settings button was also moved to the More menu, which removes a little clutter from the overall look and feel of the app.

While LINE has been updating its Windows Phone app to a certain degree — it’s last update took place in late December and included bug fixes and performance improvements — it still has not released the LINE sticker store or the ever-important LINE gaming platform to Windows Phone users, though it did release voice calling back in October.

We have reached out to LINE in the past to clarify why these features haven’t been released, and the company has maintained that the market share for Windows Phone isn’t quite high enough yet. With the continued growth of Windows Phone in mind, hopefully we’ll be racing through RunRun Hero or pushing coins into a bottomless pit by the end of this year.
