KakaoTalk, Kakao, Kakao App

Those of you who are using KakaoTalk on your Androids should have received an update to the application by now, which adds a couple of new fixes to the popular calling and messaging app.

Version 4.3.1 fixes a problem where emoticons were not displayed properly in the recent emoticon tab as well as a problem where notification was not removed from notification panel despite checking the message. The app also includes some additional bug fixes, but Kakao did not specify what bugs these fixes addressed.

This latest update is the first we’ve seen on Android in a long time, with most of Kakao’s attention seemingly focused on its PC application, which gets a new update just about every week. Some of you have been having issues with voice calls and clarity on the app, so hopefully this new update’s “other bug fixes” takes aim at those problems as well.

Download the new update here and let us know in the comments or the Forums if you have any further problems with the new KakaoTalk update.
