LINE for Windows Phone, Android, iPhone

LINE isn’t just about messaging, and it’s not just about its “growing gaming platform either. LINE’s latest partnership with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, which holds the crown for the “largest and most tuned in media outlet for broadcast and digital radio” in the United States, hopes to leverage the app’s incredible growth to further LINE’s entertainment value for consumers.

This partnership also includes the launch of LA’s 102.7 KIIS FM Official Account on LINE. Along with 102.7 KIIS FM, Clear Channel owns 840 radio stations nationwide, including the iHeartRadio digital platform.

KIIS FM is the first U.S. radio station to launch its Official Account on LINE and the others are soon to follow. Users can add the KIIS FM Official Account to participate in event ticket giveaways, receive exclusive content, and more.

“By partnering with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, we are further bringing the entertainment value in LINE to our users by connecting radio listeners to their favorite stations and events,” said Jeanie Han, CEO, LINE USA. “Radio stations, like 102.7 KIIS-FM, will also have a greater reach to their audience with a branded mobile presence on the LINE platform.”

“We are excited to partner with LINE,” said Vice President of Partnerships, Michael Preacher. “Within hours of adopting the LINE instant messaging platform, we immediately enhanced KIIS-FM’s mobile connectivity with tens of thousands of our fans. Mobile real time engagement means we can provide our listeners and music fans everywhere with easier access to winning great KIIS-FM prizes like ‘Pit Passes’ to Wango Tango.”

KIIS FM’s WANGO TANGO, annual pop music festival on May 10, 2014, will feature global artists such as Maroon 5, Shakira and Tiesto. LINE users will have the chance to win free tickets, seat upgrades, Pit Passes and more exclusive benefits.

If you don’t yet have LINE and you’re looking for a cross-platform alternative to other messaging apps, an entertainment-filled messaging experience is just a QR code scan away.
