LINE app, LINE Toss, photo and video share

As NAVVER’s LINE continues its efforts at conquering the U.S. with localized content headed by gaming, that hasn’t stopped other apps from being introduced as well, apps that expand upon the calling and messaging foundation of LINE.

To that end, the company has just announced the release of LINE Toss a photo and video sharing application that lets you share “hundreds” of photos and videos that you have saved in your smartphone in chronological order or based on location, the latter of which can be toggled on and off at will. From there you can easily share them with your LINE friends. If your friends aren’t using Toss, they can share via web browser, which could prove to be a useful workaround for iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry users who don’t have LINE Toss available.

LINE developed Toss for the following recommended cases:

  • For when you want to easily share all the many photos you took when traveling with friends.
  • When you want to make an album of photo memories from a family outing.
  • When you want to share photos of your favorite restaurants and the food served all at once.
  • When you want to find a specific photo out of a huge archive.

LINE Toss can be downloaded for free via Google Play, but of course, you’ll want to make sure you have the latest version of LINE installed as well.
