LINE, LINE app, LINE for iPad

Earlier today, LINE launched a version of its popular messaging application for the Apple iPad.

Similar to how you use the PC iteration, all you need to do is enter the email address and password registered to your smartphone LINE account to load your friends list and use your purchased stickers on your iPad tablet.

This means you can use LINE on iPad’s bigger screen to communicate with your friends and family without having to squint at the screen. Those of us on Windows 8 have been enjoying full-touch communication with LINE for over a year, so it’s great to see more tablets getting the support.

It’s worth noting that you’ll need to re-download the stickers you’ve purchased on the smartphone version by going to Settings > Stickers. Once you’ve done so, you’ll be able to use them in your conversations.

You can download the new iPad version of LINE using this QR code. What do you think of the new iPad app?
