WeChat new design, Windows Phone wechat app, instant messaging software

Tencent’s ever popular WeChat has just been updated to version on the Windows Phone platform, bringing with it a fresh new design that’s directly targeted at improving the overall user experience.

The design, as can be seen from the screenshots above, brings a cleaner and leaner interface to the table and has indeed proven to be an asset to the Windows smartphone version of the app thus far. You’re now able to view all images from a chat more quickly

That’s not all that’s been changed in the new update, however. You’re now able to view all images from a chat more quickly than you were previously, and there’s also a new ability to extract QR codes from within images, making it handy for adding Official Accounts such as TruTower‘s (shown above).
