RingCentral, cloud based services business, Enterprise in the cloud

RingCentral, a leading provider of cloud business communication solutions, recently launched the latest update to its RingCentral Office, adding several new enterprise grade features.

RingCentral offers a complete cloud business phone system that is designed for today’s mobile and dispersed workforces. It provides a next generation solution that replaces complex, on-premise legacy phone systems, and keeps employees connected through voice calls, SMS, audio conferencing and video meetings. The latest RingCentral release delivers an expanded feature set, enterprise grade security, and more control for IT administrators.

“We’re pleased to roll out our latest enterprise feature updates that add greater flexibility, quality and security to our already industry leading solution,” said David Berman, president of RingCentral. “RingCentral is a powerful communications and collaboration platform that transforms the way people work and makes it easier for businesses of all sizes to communicate more efficiently and effectively.”

New feature updates include:

Voicemail Preview
Now RingCentral customers on the Enterprise edition can benefit from the new Voicemail Preview feature. Voice messages are automatically transcribed to text and shown on-screen along with the audio file. When the user receives a voice message, they can read it in an email or in RingCentral on mobile or desktop – instead of listening to it.

International Toll-Free Numbers
RingCentral now offers additional International Toll-Free Numbers to all customers. These numbers allow RingCentral customers to expand into new markets and be closer to their international customers by adding toll-free numbers from over 23 countries without setting up physical offices overseas. The benefit is businesses can now display an international toll-free number as their company phone number and allow customers to call a local number without a charge.

Secure Voice (Encrypted Voice)
In this release, RingCentral further strengthens its security with Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) encryption between endpoints on the network, including desk phones, conference phones, RingCentral mobile app and RingCentral for Desktop. With enhanced call encryption, RingCentral helps safeguard business communications and helps prevent unauthorized interception of audio streams.

Call Monitoring
Managing, training, and supporting sales and support teams is now more efficient and productive. With RingCentral’s new Call Monitoring feature, supervisors can listen in, whisper to staff, join a conversation, and commandeer calls. As a supervisor of agents, you can ensure the highest quality of agent-customer interaction by delivering better coaching and training to your staff with access to your teams’ phone calls with customers in real-time. Call Monitoring is available for Office Premium and Enterprise Editions.

Visual IVR Editor
RingCentral extends the Auto-Attendant capability by providing system administrators with an easy and intuitive graphical Visual IVR Editor to simplify the account configuration process and virtually eliminate misconfiguration and calling tree errors. The new tool is easy to use with centralized call routing management for multiple locations and offices via cloud-based services or via mobile devices and tablet anywhere, anytime. The feature is available for Office Premium and Enterprise Edition.

“We’re rapidly innovating to meet the needs of our cloud communications customers across all segments, from SMB to larger enterprises. Our latest features such as the Visual IVR Editor and Call Monitoring give our customers more control of their phone system, while Voicemail Preview and International Toll Free Numbers provide very user friendly features to help business customers work much more productively,” said Jose Pastor, vice president of products for RingCentral.
