Fans of MTV, if you’re having trouble choosing which of the many messaging apps is right for you, you may find a happy home on Kik Messenger.
That’s because MTV has just launched on the app, and by chatting with MTV, you can stay up on the latest news about your favorite celebrities and, of course, music. Of course, much like TruTower and other official accounts on the app, the MTV account can also make things fun.
MTV’s launch is part of Kik’s continuing efforts to separate itself from the pack of messaging apps out there with its Promoted Chats feature, which is enabled on all Androids leading up to Android 5.0 Lollipop as well as iOS (we’re still waiting on the feature’s launch on Windows devices).
To check out the new MTV Promoted Chat, download Kik Messenger here and search for “MTV” in the “Find People” screen on Kik. Don’t forget to search for “TruTower” and add us as well!
