HTC One V, Android, Ice Cream Sandwich

Global SIM card and SIM-free fans in the UK who have been waiting patiently for their chance to finally get their hands on the HTC One V can now stop waiting. Well, they may have to wait a bit longer for their devices to arrive of course.

The long-awaited device first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress is now available for preorder via Carphone Warehouse. Unfortunately, the SIM free version of the device is not yet available as of this writing, but should be made available soon to Tru SIM customers.

Until then, if the wait is too much to bear, Tru SIM users do have the option of unlocking the device or purchasing the HTC One S or One X, both of which are available SIM Free.

Otherwise, if you’re a VoIP application user, the VoIP App will work on the HTC One V whether it’s SIM Free or not.

If you haven’t yet decided which device you’re going to go for, it might help you a little if you were to check out our Mobile World Congress article featuring the HTC One specs.
