Nokia 808 PureView, Symbian Belle, Nokia Unlocked

Nokia continued to tease us with photo after photo depicting various references that we suspected were part of an elaborate scheme to announce the official release of the Nokia 808 PureView in the United States.

Fortunately, this turned out to be correct, as Nokia has announced the availability of its 808 PureView smartphone for the United States, which will be distributed through Amazon (and of course, our online shop).

If you’ve been patiently waiting to use the 41-megapixel fun fest on Tru SIM, you won’t have to wait much longer for the opportunity: pre-orders are set to begin later this week, and you can sign up right now to be notified on Nokia’s website. The phones can be bought outright for $699 and will be unlocked and 100% compatible with the Tru SIM GSM network.

Are you getting in on the 41-megapixel action?
