ooVoo, ooVoo App, ooVoo Instant messaging

If you live in the United States, you no doubt know that April 15th (Tax Day!) is coming up, and rather than have you foot the entire bill for a brand new phone (if you’re into Android), chat service ooVoo is providing a “free Android phone” by way of its “Tech Refund” promotion.

To claim this offer, Americans can log on to ooVoo.com/Android and select their wireless carrier and preferred phone model. A new 2-year contract is required, of course, but once that requirement is out of the way and the new Android phone has been ordered, the device will be delivered straight to mailboxes “just like a refund from the IRS.”

“Often times tax payers use their refund to upgrade their mobile phones,” said Jay Samit , president of ooVoo. “With ooVoo’s Tech Refund, Americans can save their hard-earned refund for something else to enjoy.”

According to ComScore, ooVoo is the #1 app with American teenagers, with users averaging 200 minutes per month and over 70 million registered users. This promotion will help save a little green for something else. Maybe even a few accessories for that shiny new Android.
