Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Next Version of Android OS, Google Operating System

Just days after the Samsung-built superphone went back on sale at the Play Store, Google has officially announced that Jelly Bean’s rollout to Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ handsets has begun.

Jelly Bean is the newest version of Android. The experience is faster and smoother overall, and also features a new UI for search and Voice Search enhancements.

Google Now is also part of the updated Google app. Google Now gives you instant access to featuers such as weather, traffic, and sports in the form of cards. If you’re using an international roaming SIM card, just make sure you have your Tru SIM account topped up so you don’t run out of data access while using these services.

To get your device updated to Android Jelly Bean, you won’t need to lift a finger; you should receive a prompt to update to the newest Android version. It’s highly recommended that SIM users update their devices over Wi-Fi. VoIP Apps should work fine with Jelly Bean.

Google also promises that Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, and Motorola Xoom devices will be updated to Jelly Bean next.
