Fring for Android, Android VoIP App, Free Android Calling Application

Our Android radars were abuzz this morning as Fring released a new update for its popular voice over IP application, bringing with it an assortment of bug fixes, UI tweaks, and a few new features.

The bugs that were fixed were not specified by the Fring team, but the team did clarify that the UX/UI had been improved and had some few fixes installed. In addition, the team provided some new Storyline features with the update, previously an iOS-only feature. fring Storyline shows your dynamic fring history with each of your contacts including your texts and call history, and is accessible via the Info tab after selecting a contact.

Fring App Update Android, Android VoIP App, Applications for Wi-Fi Internet Phone Calls

The new version is now available in the Google Play Store and though we’ve only had a limited time with the new update, it’s looking very stable and solid so far. As we experience the app more and use its more memory and web intensive features, we’ll provide updates to Fring users accordingly.

Have you downloaded the new update yet? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
