Apple iOS Update, iOS, iPad iPhone Updates

Cupertino-based Apple is rolling out a small update for iPhone 4S users. The upgrade, carrying the moniker of 6.1.1, is available for what appears to be only “some” iPhone owners and has not yet found its way to other iPhone models or the iPod Touch yet.

According to the Apple Support website, the update appears to fix “an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S” so it’s likely that the update will not be available for other models or products.

Many users around the internet have also complained of battery life problems, some iOS application issues, and freezing, although we haven’t experienced these issues on our own device; many of these issues can probably be solved by following these simple procedures.

Are there any other issues you’ve been having with your iDevice, specifically with your iPhone 4S? Have you received this update? Sound off in the comments!
