Rebtel, Rebtel for Smartphones, Calling Application and Software

A new update to the Rebtel internet calling and messaging app for Android smartphones brings a number of improvements to the VoIP software and also manages to fix an assortment of bugs in the process.

With version 2.6, Rebtel brought improved filter and labels for friends with international numbers, a useful feature that makes it easier for you to find your local and international friends via your address book when browsing via Rebtel. In addition, the update boasts new graphics that appear (at least to us) to be sharper, making the app more pleasant to use on our higher definition devices. Finally, some stability improvements were thrown into the mix.

A new update released today, version 2.6.1, further adds to this list of changes with a fix that solves a few various upgrade problems reported to the Rebtel app developers by the users.

The most recent version of Rebtel is now available in the Google Play store. Happy calling!
