Facebook Messenger, FB Messenger, iOS Apps

As Facebook Messenger deals with growing competition from the likes of WhatsApp, Kik Messenger, and KakaoTalk, the company has been pushing out update after update.

VoIP calling and Chat Heads were among the most notable features the company has added in the last few months, and now, thanks to its latest update (version 2.4), Facebook has added a couple more: stickers and “swipe to delete.”

Like those from KakaoTalk, Viber, and LINE, these stickers feature an assortment of critters (shown above) that open users up to more freedoms of expression that the long-beloved emoticons just can’t handle.

The swipe to delete feature, meanwhile, finally allows users to remove conversations from their inbox areas for good in a very easy manner, something that’s been lacking in the feature up until now.

If you haven’t yet received the update or a notification of its availability on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, you can find the update in the App Store.
