KakaoTalk for WP, Windows Phone, KakaoTalk WP8

Not too long ago, KakaoTalk for Windows Phone got a major update that allowed the version of the popular messaging app to sync directly with the PC version, unifying the experience across the Windows ecosystem.

An extension of that KakaoTalk update, version 1.9.0, was just released that addresses a few minor issues with the application. These issues weren’t specified in the changelog, but we’ve received some reports of users who couldn’t enlarge pictures after the aforementioned PC update; the app would crash whenever some users would try to click on a photo their friends sent. In addition, there were some reports of the app performing sluggishly. Whether or not this new version adequately addresses these issues, we’ll leave up to you (let us know if you’ve noticed any improvements to KakaoTalk in the comments!).

Unfortunately, the update doesn’t add the stickers or add-ons that versions on both iPhone and Android enjoy yet, but we’re hoping to see these features roll out to Windows Phone users soon.
