Viber VoIP, Viber Messaging, Viber logo

Are you an artist? Well even if you’re not, you’ll likely find some time to try out Viber‘s brand new doodle feature on Android devices. The new feature arrived on the OS with the newly-released version 3.1.0.1103 update.

Doodling takes your Viber conversations to a whole new dimension

The doodle feature lets you paint over a photo or other picture and share it with your friends via the application. Friends from other platforms can see your work, but will not be able to join in the fun (yet); the features will be coming in a “few weeks” for iOS. The doodle feature definitely brings a whole new level of fun and participation to the popular calling and messaging application.

Speaking of friends, the new update also allows you to see when your friends have read your messages. This is quite useful, as it lets you know not only if your message went through correctly, but also if your friends are really trying to ditch you to go to the movies. Okay, just the first thing. Your friends wouldn’t really try to ditch you for a chance to watch the latest Brad Pitt flick, would they?

Viber desktop support is now available on Android

Support for the Viber Desktop application on Windows and Mac is also in the cards for the latest Android update, as are fun new emoticons and “massive” performance improvements and bug fixes. Putting a cherry on top and rounding out the list of new additions is the localization of the app to Croatian, Norwegian, Romanian, Slovak and Ukrainian.

If you’re ready to get a massive boost in features and fun, download the latest version via Google Play and don’t forget to stay up to date on the latest news via our official Viber page!
