Fring app, calling apps, free android calls

It’s been a pretty long time since an update from Fring last graced our Android screens. The last time was way back in February when Fring removed support for a few older versions as it embraces new features, a new look, and an entirely new personality.

The new long-awaited update makes a few improvements to audio controls when listening to music, offers an enhanced timeline to “non-fringers”, rolls out a new search toolbar. Most of these are seemingly pretty minor updates, true, but we’ve found the new timeline to be quite useful and wish it would have come the way of Fring a lot sooner. Of course, it’s not nearly as useful as FringIn or FringOut calling.

The new update also eradicates a smorgasbord of bugs so your experience using the application on Android should be quite a bit smoother now than it ever has been. The new version is available for Android 2.3 or above via Google Play and don’t forget to drop by our Fring page for even more information-induced fun!
