KakaoTalk for iPhone, KakaoTalk app, Kakao chat

Apple iOS users running KakaoTalk on their smartphones, tablets, or glorified mp3 players received an update today (version 3.7.2) that added a number of notable features and improvements to the popular messaging application.

One of the most notable of these additions are moving stickers. True, animated GIFs have been around for years, but their popularity cannot be denied. Needless to say, animated stickers are a welcome addition to Kakao.

Other features added in the latest update include the ability to see files downloaded from KakaoTalk PCs as well as the ability to customize the profile picture for a group chat room.

Performance issues round out the latest changes. These include improved usability and UI tweaks for Free Call and Group Call features, an enhancement to the method of sending images (though this specific enhancement isn’t specified), and improvements to overall messaging performance, which should make messaging a little more stable as well as a bit faster.
