At the beginning of the month, we wrote a spotlight segment on Rebtel’s Mobile Top Up feature, which allows users to keep their Rebtel accounts filled with enough coin to call and message their way to the holidays. Earlier today, that feature also rolled out to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
It’s pretty easy to top up your Rebtel account. Simply choose a person from your address book and then select the amount you would like to send. You will see the amount your friend will receive in their local currency along with the total amount to be charged to your credit card.
There’s no word yet on when this feature will be rolling out to Windows Phone users, but suffice it to say we hope to see it make the rounds to Live Tile Land eventually.
Apple iOS users can download Rebtel’s latest version to start using Mobile Top Up on their devices.
