Every now and then, a calling and messaging app gets an update that takes the app in question to a whole new level, whether it be due to new features or updates that make the application run better and faster. ooVoo has just released such an update for Android smartphones and tablets.
The new update adds a whopping number of new features and improvements, including four new filters for your video chats: Eraser, Rich Tone, Night, and Drama. Like photo filters, these new filters will give your video chats a new mood and allow you to customize your live conversations at a much deeper level than most other apps on the market.
The update also includes a new compose button, a redesigned Build a Call screen that’s visible after you tap the Video Call button within the app, and a streamlined SMS invite process.
Improved load times on both media and while importing friends from Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, and your address book have also been squeezed into the update, along with some unspecified bug fixes.
