Zello PTT, Zello Walkie Talkie, Zello friends

Over the past nearly two months, Zello has been releasing small, incremental updates to its push-to-talk application. Most of these changes were so minor, there wasn’t any change to the app’s changelog.

However, the latest updates for Android do bring some notable changes to the table for the app. The version 2.37 release fixes a microphone problem on many devices, progress icon mistakenly showing in the action bar on Android Ice Cream Sandwich devices, and finally a fix to the screen orientation while a message is being sent.

A few notable changes arrive with this latest Zello update

Its previous release, version 2.36, which was just recently rolled out, includes the following changes:

  • Faster application startup
  • Improved profiles caching to reduce data consumption
  • Improved channels search feature
  • Colorful status icon is back
  • Improved UI performance
  • Other bug fixes

You can get the latest Zello PTT Walkie-Talkie update via Google Play; don’t forget to add our official account on the service as well! We’re always up for a chat.
