Nimbuzz for Windows Phone, latest changes in NImbuzz, Nimbuzz Messenger

Nimbuzz has announced the availability of chat rooms in their calling and messaging app for Windows Phone 8 with its latest iteration: version 1.1.7.

The new chat rooms allow users to “Chat with people, make new friends, create your own rooms, invite friends to room, send virtual gifts,” and more.

Users can create their own public or private chat rooms and invite their friends to join their new rooms in either case.

You can also view a list of popular chat rooms and join any public rooms that are of interest to you. These chat rooms can also be added to a list of favorites.

Other features include:

  • View Avatars / Profile of chat room Participants, private chat with them and add in your contact list.
  • Search chat rooms & apply advanced filters while searching, such as those based on country or language.
  • Send and receive gifts using chat room commands in the chat room.

And the list goes on.

Chat rooms initially made a comeback on iOS and Android before being expanded later to Windows PCs back in December. The chat rooms feature is arguably one of Nimbuzz’s most popular.

To get started with using the new chat rooms, download the latest version of Nimbuzz for Windows Phone.
