ooVoo, ooVoo updates, ooVoo friends

ooVoo has never been one to shy away from celebrating a special occasion with a unique filter or feature (or two) whenever a holiday, a new season, or other special event comes around. This tradition continues with the latest update, in which ooVoo adds a new sunburn filter that it says will allow users to “show off that fun in sun glow” during video chats.

In addition, ooVoo has also introduced a new streamlined Messages design that should, according to the company, make texting friends “easier.” A “last seen” status feature accompanies this new design, as does the ability to name the group in group chats. Regarding the latter, any member of the group can edit the group name to their liking (which could make things interesting).

Alongside these changes are still a few others, including:

  • Added Missed Calls indication in Messages.
  • Added support for emoji in text status and display name!
  • Squashed bugs.

The new update can be downloaded using this QR code. What do you think of the new filter? Let us know in the comments or the forums!
