Top Connect the company behind TravelSim announced today that it will be exhibiting its travel roaming SIM card-based product at The PrePaid Press show being held in Las Vegas on August 18-20, 2014. The global mobile service provider will be holding “a number of strategic meetings with US mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs)” as it quests for potential US distributors on its booth #224 at the Planet Hollywood venue.

Top Connect is an agile telecoms firm and its TravelSim brand is the world’s leading international roaming card service with a user base of over 4.5 million. Over 80,000 new subscribers sign up for the service each month. With the goal of growing the user base to 5 million by end 2014, Top Connect sees the US market as one with the most potential.

Customers of US MVNOs are provided a local #1 number and incoming calls to these local numbers are free from 66 countries, as are incoming SMS messages. Outgoing calls and data have the same unbeatable price plans as the regular TravelSim service.

Earlier this year, Top Connect announced that the TravelSim service had saved its user base a collective $200 million in roaming charges in 2013. The firm expects to increase this increase to $300 million by end 2014 compared to standard national carriers being used while traveling abroad.

Thanks to its agreements with tier one GSM providers around the globe, TravelSim says its service can save customers up to 85% on making calls while abroad. It also offers free incoming calls in 140 countries and free worldwide SMS. The TravelSim product can be used in 190 countries and can be purchased via the company’s website.
