Facebook Messenger, Messaging apps, Iphone apps

If you’re using Facebook Messenger on iOS 8, you’ll be happy to know that the app has just received an update that features an iOS 8 Share Extension, making it easy to share photos, videos, and even links directly with Facebook Messenger from within other iOS apps.

Facebook, which recently launched its standalone “Stickered” app for Messenger on the iOS platform as well as Android, has been working on making Messenger a platform all its own, with new features being released to the standalone app that it hopes will keep it relevant in the vast mobile messaging market.

The new Messenger update still includes the features we’ve grown accustomed to, including the ability to message people in your address book, group chats, and of course free calls.

If you haven’t already updated the Facebook Messenger app on your device or you haven’t had the chance to download it yet at all, you can download Facebook Messenger from the iTunes App Store by using these handy QR codes.
