text, data, messaging bundles gsm

Many customers have shown interest in bundle plans for Tru SIM. Bundles ranging from text to minutes to web have all appeared to be in high demand. In fact, we have also received a few questions regarding this and decided to look into the situation to see if this was something that was going to be possible in the near future.

The question was answered (kind of) on Twitter. According to a recent tweet on Tru’s Twitter account (@truphone), the company is “aware of the interest” for bundle plans, but “no confirmed date” has been decided upon. Yet.

Bundle plans are currently available for Business and Large Enterprise users. There have been reports of some individual end users being allowed to use the Business bundles, but we have not clarified whether these reports hold any truth or not.

What is clear, however, is that bundle plans would go a very long way in making Tru a much more competitive mobile service in all the countries they serve, as bundled plans are always more attractive, not to mention less costly, to customers, whether they are at home or abroad.

Who knows? Bundle plans might also entice more users to use Tru on a daily basis, whether they use the international services or not.

We’ll keep an eye on Tru and the possibility of bundle plans in the future. Stay tuned.
