Many of us have been waiting for Truphone to launch its international roaming SIM in additional markets. We’ve known that additional markets were coming for quite some time, but what we didn’t know was exactly when they would arrive.
Thankfully, one of those countries is now at least off that list as the service has just launched in the Dutch market, bringing its world-class service (and local rates!) with it.
Of course, low roaming rates are still in the cards for those who roam outside of the Truphone countries, which also include the UK, the US, Australia, and Hong Kong. The service works in over 220 countries and provides travelers and business users a means of staying connected to those who matter most while saving up to 90 percent compared to national operators.
The company has also been continually expanding in the American market, bringing call recording to American banks, as well as showing off its new Truphone+ converged SIM and App service at Mobile World Congress. The company is also said to be expanding to even more markets soon and we’ll post updates the moment this expansion occurs, so stay tuned.
