LINE for WP8, LINE on Windows Phone, LINE app

A decent sized update for LINE for Windows Phone has been pushed out as we head into the hopefully long weekend.

The new update is given the version number of 2.7 and gains support for LINE’s Video Stream function that has made some sizable waves on other operating systems. This brings the Windows Phone version of the app a bit closer to its iOS and Android counterparts.

The new app also supports the notification setting on group chats so you’ll never have to miss a simultaneous chat session with a few friends ever again, assuming you keep the battery on your Windows Phone charged of course.

Finally, the new app also brings us the usual round of “minor” bug fixes and improvements to overall performance. Download the latest version of LINE from the Windows Phone Store. Here’s hoping we can have a few amazing conversations with our LINE friends to start the weekend off just right!
